DevOps Engineer

At Netwiser Inc., we are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer who possesses a strong foundation in Linux Administration, Networking Fundamentals, and TCP/IP Protocols. This role is essential in bridging development and operations, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of software projects. You will take charge of optimizing our development workflow, improving system reliability, and enhancing performance by implementing best practices in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). As a key member of our team, you will manage a small team of three, providing guidance and mentorship to facilitate their growth and contribution to our goals. Excellent English communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance deployment pipelines for automated builds and releases to improve software delivery speed and reliability.
Manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability of application environments to support business operations.
Monitor system performance and ensure reliability by proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
Collaborate with software developers to integrate and automate test scripts within the CI/CD pipeline, enhancing code quality control.
Implement security measures and best practices across all software and systems to safeguard company assets and customer data.
Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Lead the DevOps team by providing technical direction, mentoring team members, and fostering collaboration among team members.
Document processes and configurations to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base that helps in onboarding new team members and standardizing operations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies in DevOps practices and make recommendations for improvements and innovations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and IT support, to ensure alignment and smooth execution of projects.
