We’re seeking a detail-oriented Web Development Analyst with a solid understanding of back-end web development processes to join our dynamic team. In this role, you won’t be required to code. Still, your technical knowledge will be critical in analyzing websites and businesses listed on online marketplaces such as Flippa and similar platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Listings: Review and assess websites, apps, and online businesses for potential purchase or trade opportunities.
- Technical Insight: Leverage your web development knowledge to evaluate site architecture, scalability, and technical health.
- Market Research: Stay updated on trends in online business marketplaces to provide actionable insights.
- Reporting: Compile detailed reports on the platforms' strengths, weaknesses, and potential growth you review.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the acquisition and strategy teams to ensure accurate evaluations and sound decision-making.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in web development or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of back-end development processes (e.g., databases, APIs, server-side operations).
- Familiarity with marketplaces like Flippa or similar platforms is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to communicate technical insights clearly and concisely.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
