Truck Dispatcher

We`re seeking an experienced and highly organized Truck Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing routes, and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities:

Coordinate truck schedules, routes, and loads for optimal efficiency
Communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders
Monitor and manage delivery times, delays, and issues
Plan and adjust routes according to weather, traffic, and road conditions
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate records and reports
Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in truck dispatch or logistics
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics or related field preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Proficient in logistics software and technology (e.g., TMS, GPS tracking)
Knowledge of DOT regulations and industry standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with [specific software or systems]
CDL certification or knowledge of transportation regulations
Supervisory or leadership experience
