Business Development Executive

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for driving growth and expanding PAR’s reach within the agricultural sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the agri-data landscape.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the agriculture sector, focusing on expanding PAR’s client base and enhancing market penetration.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including farmers, brokers, traders, and manufacturers to foster long-term partnerships and ensure client satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and promote PAR’s range of services, including daily commodity prices, crop surveys, and custom reports.
Utilize PAR’s extensive data offerings to craft compelling proposals and presentations, demonstrating the value of our data services to potential clients.
Work closely with internal teams, including data analysts and research staff, to ensure alignment of business development efforts with the company’s goals and service offerings.
Track and report on business development activities, including lead generation, client acquisition, and sales performance, providing regular updates to management.
Develop and pitch customized data solutions and reports based on client requirements, leveraging PAR’s diverse data sources and expertise.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications would be a plus.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business development, preferably in the agricultural or data services sector.
Familiarity with CRM software and data analytics tools. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
