Job Summary:
The Shift Incharge is responsible for overseeing production operations during their designated shift, ensuring efficient operation of machinery, adherence to safety protocols, and achievement of production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers and machine operators.
- Assign tasks, manage schedules, and conduct shift meetings.
Production Management:
- Monitor production processes to meet quality and quantity targets.
- Ensure efficient operation of machinery and coordinate maintenance.
Quality Control:
- Enforce quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address issues.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct safety briefings and investigate incidents.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of production data.
- Prepare shift reports and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Implement best practices and support team innovation.
