Purchase Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities for our textile company. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage vendor relationships and inventory efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure raw materials (fabrics, yarns, trims, dyes, etc.) as per production requirements
Negotiate with suppliers for best prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
Maintain accurate purchase records and supplier database
Develop strong vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance
Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics teams
Analyze market trends and make cost-effective purchasing decisions

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in the textile/garment industry
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel)
Knowledge of local and international sourcing

Preferred:

Experience with sustainable sourcing practices
Existing vendor network in textile hubs
