We requires the services of a Facility Manager(House Keeping) -Janitorial for a Food Processing/Production Factory.

Facilities manager is responsible for creating a suitable working environment, ensuring facilities are always neat and clean, and disinfected as per SOPs.

Moreover, Facility Manager need to be able to attend to multiple concerns involving both workers and their working environment, requiring good organizational and multitasking ability.

Facility Manager Responsibilities:

  • Who can manage a team of 100 Janitorial employees, in shifts, 24/7 operations
  • Having at-least 2-5 years of experience in similar role for facility management in Production sector.
  • Flexible in working in shifts as per requirements.
  • Must have expertise in food production Hygiene .
  • Knowledge of Cleaning materials and Machines.

He has to ensure/supervise.

  • Ensures that assigned areas of the Factory are clean and tidy and there is no complaint or noncompliance.
  • Ensure that policies/procedures are followed as per infection control/ISO/QA/HSE standards.
  • Arrange shifts, assign staff their duties as per the duty roster, and maintain reports for attendance and overtime.
  • Check assigned areas including Production area, Outer area and other areas for cleanliness, and submit a compliance report to KAM on daily bases.
  • Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping services and equipment, and takes corrective action.
  • Conduct orientation and in-service training to explain policies, work procedures, to the staff and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Effective Management of janitorial staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Managing waste disposal systems.
  • Performance evaluations of staff as per given JDs
  • Perform cleaning in the premises using cleaning equipment's & machinery.
  • Oversees and supervises the quality of work for other employees to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies to ensure that there are adequate supplies available at all times
  • Scheduling janitorial staff to meet cleaning deadlines
  • Managing checklist & documentation work

Facilities Manager Requirements:

  • Degree in facility management, business administration, project management or relevant field
  • 3-5 years in facilities management preferably with experience in Production sector.
  • Must have good working knowledge Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Able to multi-task and Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
