The National QEHS Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards across all nationwide operations. This role includes direct interaction with key customers, including Huawei, Ericsson, ZTE, and Reon, to meet and exceed their QEHS requirements. The manager will be pivotal in creating and sustaining a culture of safety and quality within the organization by conducting audits, providing training, and enforcing compliance across all levels of the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Coordination and Compliance:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for all QEHS matters with clients (Huawei, Ericsson, ZTE, Reon, etc.).
    • Attend all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) meetings with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure alignment with their standards.
    • Fulfill all client-specific QEHS requirements, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.
  2. Audit and Monitoring:

    • Conduct regular video call and physical site audits nationwide to evaluate QEHS adherence.
    • Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve compliance and performance.
    • Maintain comprehensive records of audits, incidents, and corrective measures.
  3. Training and Awareness:

    • Design and deliver QEHS training programs for office and field staff.
    • Increase awareness of QEHS principles and policies across all levels of the organization.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of training and adapt materials as required.
  4. Policy Development and Enforcement:

    • Develop and implement QEHS policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with legal and client requirements.
    • Impose strict adherence to QEHS laws and foster a culture of accountability.
    • Stay updated with the latest QEHS standards and regulations to guide the organization accordingly.
  5. Incident Management:

    • Investigate QEHS incidents, determine root causes, and implement preventative measures.
    • Prepare detailed reports for internal and client review.
  6. Leadership and Teamwork:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QEHS into business processes.
    • Act as a role model, demonstrating commitment to QEHS standards and inspiring others to do the same.

Key Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH certification (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in QEHS management, preferably in the telecom or infrastructure industry.
  • Strong understanding of QEHS standards, legal requirements, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in conducting audits, delivering training, and implementing QEHS policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and teams.
  • Ability to travel nationwide and work in diverse environments.
