As a Pricing & Promotions Analyst, you are responsible to drive research in Ride-Hailing pricing strategy and development of a global pricing playbook. You will be working with Strategy and Product teams to discover opportunities for optimization and streamlining these into actionable solutions.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Lead and execute global pricing audits starting from data gathering, analysis and ending with pricing strategies and price configuration proposals for our key markets.
  • Collaborate with marketplace, growth, analytics and country teams to validate proposals from pricing audits and secure deployment.
  • Lead market growth analysts in conducting and analysing A/B tests to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies.
  • Develop pricing frameworks, playbooks and tools to conduct pricing analysis and deepdive
  • Analyze competitor pricing, market trends and customer engagement to maximize our value proposition for both riders and drivers.
  • Analyze the usage patterns for various pricing product features, identify key levers for further improvements and assist in the creation of business cases for new developments.
  • Perform post-assessment of pricing decisions to ensure healthy tracking of the desired results.
  • Maintain thorough and concise documentation for tracking all decisions and post-assessments.
  • Lead execution of promotions for our key markets in collaboration with growth, marketing and partnership teams.

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • At least 4 years experience in an analytical role dealing with large volumes of data,
  • Experience in consulting, pricing/discount strategy and/or on-demand is a plus
  • Solid grasp of statistics and demonstrated experience with A/B testing
  • Amazing SQL and Excel skills. Experience with Python or R is a plus
  • Experience with some BI tools and data visualization like Tableau, Power BI or Looker
  • Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Fluent in English
