Key Responsibilities:
Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets related to mining safety, operations, and project management.
Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
Utilize statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within mining data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and developers, to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy while maintaining best practices for data governance.
Support the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms for risk assessment and operational optimization.
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
Experience working with mining, industrial, or safety-related data is a plus.
