We Are Hiring an accountant for our Construction Company
Are you an experienced Accountant with a background in the construction industry? Do you have a keen eye for detail and strong financial management skills? If so, we want YOU to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and manage financial records for construction projects.
- Handle project cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor payments.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, job costing, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and construction industry standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts and project financials.
- Assist in payroll processing, including subcontractor payments.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
- Strong understanding of job costing, progress billing, and WIP reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
