Job Summary:
The Nursing Support Officer will provide on-site nursing and emergency medical support to clients at their locations and within hospital settings. This role involves acting as an attendant, delivering compassionate care, and assisting with routine tasks as needed. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling medical situations independently while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Support:
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care at client locations and hospitals.
- Act as an attendant to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Monitor and assist with clients' daily medical needs, including medication management and mobility support.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to support treatment plans and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and report on client health status as needed.
Client Assistance:
- Support clients with personal care, mobility, and routine tasks.
- Assist with transportation and accompany clients during medical appointments and hospital visits.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients in all settings.
Qualifications:
- Nursing qualification (Registered Nurse or equivalent certification).
- Proven experience in providing nursing care and handling emergency situations independently.
- Ability to travel to client locations and adapt to various care environments, including hospitals.
- Strong understanding of patient care and emergency protocols.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
