Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to instruct HSSC students in Economics. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of economic theories, principles, and applications, and will be skilled in delivering high-quality education that prepares students for their HSSC examinations and future academic pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the HSSC Economics curriculum.
  • Teach a range of economic concepts, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, and economic development.
  • Use diverse instructional methods and resources to address various learning styles and enhance student comprehension.

Curriculum Development:

  • Design and implement lesson plans, assignments, and projects that support the HSSC curriculum.
  • Regularly review and update curriculum content to incorporate current economic trends and educational standards.

Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Create and administer quizzes, tests, and examinations to evaluate student understanding and performance.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work and assessments.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions.

Classroom Management:

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure student engagement and discipline.

Student Support:

  • Offer additional support and resources to students needing extra help or enrichment.
  • Guide coursework, projects, and exam preparation.

Professional Development:

  • Engage in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in Economics and educational practices.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and departmental goals.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
