- Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning and analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Identify and implement improvements to procedures and controls.
- Coordinate with departments, assist in budget presentations to the head of the department, and prepare and oversee the budget compilation process.
- Prepare budget vs. actual reports every month.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and statutory financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports accurately and promptly.
- Assist in coordinating annual audits and quarterly review activities with external auditors.
- Create, implement, and maintain comprehensive accounting policy documents to enhance clarity and consistency.
- Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
- Continuously assess the close process and re-engineer processes to reduce the time required to close the financial period.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor and track budget vs. actual expenses for all departments.
- Endorse requisitions to ensure budgetary controls.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by top management.
