Program Intern

This role will be based in the Field office Mardan with a responsibility to support the program team in implementing the CFW activities under Livelihood project activities in targeted areas of SIF, under the supervision of PO/LO. The main task will include project implementation at the community level in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), within the available budget, planned resources, and timelines.

MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES

Support the program team during the preparation of the activity implementation plan and discuss the required resources to undertake the activity
Ensure community participation in the project activities
Support in conducting Village mapping/profiling through different PRA tools (i.e., BBCMs, Mapping/profile, conflict resolution wealth ranking, etc
Mobilize community and orient project and organization’s mandate
Work with community members to map and prioritize community needs
Conducting a detailed assessment of the area of intervention in targeted areas of SIF with complete record-keeping and pictorial proofs with the support of the team.
Identify and organize appropriate capacity building and technical resources to support project implementation.
Facilitation and support in conducting the awareness sessions
Mobilize community groups, sensitize and train them on specific topics as required, and organize and facilitate meetings.
Perform other duties as requested by the line supervisor
Prepare daily field visit reports after commencing the visit to the field
Support in Preparing and submitting weekly progress reports well on time
Prepare any other reports when required/asked by the supervisor
Actively participate in staff meetings
Any other task assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/BEHAVIOR

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
The clear understanding of the context in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Good report-writing skills
Good interpersonal, coordination, and presentation skills.
Fluency in local languages
Culturally sensitive and respect diversity
Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
Able to deal with people at all levels with tact and diplomacy.
Good Team player and motivated to work in remote and uncertain environments respecting standard operating procedures as devised and instructed.
