Project Manager

Secours Islamique France (SIF) is a non-governmental organization based in France that promotes international solidarity. Founded in 1991, SIF intends to bring relief and protect the lives of those threatened by natural disasters, armed conflicts, or economic collapse. SIF intervenes in more than 30 countries around the world through emergency relief, recovery, and development initiatives. It carries out operations in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Its goal is to help affected communities and bring relief to the people in need throughout the world, regardless of their origin, religion, gender or political association.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of water conservation projects in Mirpurkhas
Ensure project activities are completed on time, within scope, and in line with donor requirements and organizational standards.
Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.

Team Supervision:

Supervise and provide guidance to the program team, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Support team capacity building, providing regular feedback and mentoring.
Conduct regular meetings to track project progress and address any challenges.

Coordination and Collaboration:

Maintain strong relationships with donors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
Work closely with SIF’s support departments (logistics, finance, HR) to ensure smooth operational support for project activities.
Ensure effective coordination with the MEAL department to integrate monitoring, evaluation, and learning into the project lifecycle.

Community Mobilization:

Engage communities in water conservation initiatives, fostering their active participation and ownership.
Lead community sensitization campaigns on water resource management and environmental conservation.

Reporting and Compliance:

Prepare and submit timely reports on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
Ensure compliance with donor and organizational policies and procedures.
Provide regular updates to the Base Program Manager and Field Coordinator.
