ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE ORGANIZATION

Assists and support the Research & MEAL Department with the following tasks and activities; Interns will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the design and implementation of research projects.
  • Conducting literature reviews and synthesizing relevant information.
  • Design and lead the performance indicators and data collection to assess project impact.
  • Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative data analysis using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with team members to interpret research findings and provide actionable insights.
  • Developing in the writing of research papers for impact factor or HEC journals.
  • Participating in the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Independently prepare high-quality research reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Actively participate in and potentially lead training sessions, seminars, and workshops organized by the organization.

Note: The terms of reference may be subject to modification based on the specific needs of ongoing projects and the organization's requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Graduate or Post-graduate and last year in Social Sciences or any other related discipline.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience in tools development, survey data collection, data analysis software, and tools is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned areas for data collection.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with humanitarian and development issues is an asset.
