SIF is currently seeking a Supply Chain Assistant in Quetta who will be responsible for supporting the supply chain officer and team in managing and optimizing the flow of goods, services, and information within the supply chain. This role involves coordinating with procurement staff, tracking delivery of food packs, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of food packs.

General Objectives:

Objective 1: Supply Management:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and report to supply chain officer regarding stock levels.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and stock checks with store keeper.
• Help in managing inventory replenishment and stock rotation.
• Record consumption of food material on daily basis and report to the supply chain officer

Objective 2: Data Entry and Documentation:

• Enter and update supply chain data in relevant systems or excel.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, inventory, and orders.
• Prepare and generate reports on supply chain activities and performance.

Objective 3: Communication and Coordination

• Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate supply chain activities.
• Address and resolve any supply chain-related queries or issues.
• Provide support to the supply chain team in various administrative tasks

Objective 4: Compliance and Quality Control:

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures related to supply chain operations.
• Assist in monitoring and ensuring quality control standards are met.

Objective 5: Continuous Improvement:

• Support initiatives aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Suggest and implement process improvements where applicable.

Knowledge and Skills

• Good computer skills; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective under pressure, results oriented and proactive with the ability to multi-task.
• Good Interpersonal communication, negotiating and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize work schedule on regular basis and flexibility; discrete and respectful to confidentiality.
• Good Team player and motivated to work in remote and uncertain environment respecting standard operating procedures as devised and instructed.

Working Hours and Salary

• This is a full-time position with 40 working hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demands.
• Salary will be paid according to the SIF salary grid
