Requirements:

Energy Auditors-Diploma Holders should be familiar with all major types of water supply and disposal pumps, their components, and their operation. This includes centrifugal pumps, turbine pumps, and submersible pumps. They should be familiar with typical maintenance procedures and typical operating problems and should know which components typically wear out over specific time periods. This post preferably for Diploma holder.

The auditor will be provided with a 2-to-3-day training on use of equipment and the standard operating procedures for execution of the energy audits.

Job Description

  1. Travel to various municipalities for data collection.
  2. Collection and Measurement of all necessary data from municipal pumps for assessment of energy efficiency.

The auditor will be required to use, at a minimum, the following equipment:

  • Power Analyzer
  • Ultrasonic Flow Meter
  • Pressure Gauges
  • Water Level Measuring Instruments

3.  Undertaking photographic documentation of all measurements.

4.  Collection of energy bills

5.  Collection/Measurement of any other operational/technical data required to ascertain the pump performance or operational cost.
