Key Responsibilities:

Teaching:

Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in biochemistry, such as:
- General Biochemistry
- Metabolic Biochemistry
- Enzymology
- Molecular Biology
- Biochemical Techniques
Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials.
Develop and implement innovative teaching methods, including the use of technology and active learning strategies.
Assess student learning effectively through exams, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
Mentored and advised undergraduate and graduate students.

Research:

Establish and maintain an independent research program in the area of biochemistry.
Secure external funding to support research activities through grant applications.
Conduct original research and publish findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects.
Present research findings at national and international conferences.
Collaborate with other researchers within and outside the university.

Service:

Participate in departmental and university service activities.
Serve on committees and contribute to the academic community.
Engage in professional development activities, such as attending conferences and workshops.
Maintain a professional and ethical approach to teaching and research.
