The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive organizational growth and revenue. They will analyze market trends, build relationships with potential clients, and create strategic plans to expand the company's customer base. The Business Development Officer will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure the effective implementation of business development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Monitor and analyze market and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Prepare and present reports on business development progress, including sales forecasts, market analysis, and competitor assessments.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products/services and effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of business development strategies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Exceptional negotiation and sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as per the operational requirements.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Officer or similar role, preferably in a related industry.
