We are now looking for a skilled and experienced Web Developer with strong hands-on experience in WordPress (WooCommerce) and Shopify development — someone who can take Figma designs and turn them into pixel-perfect, fully responsive, and optimized eCommerce websites.
This is a remote position, so we’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and productive in an independent work setting.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain eCommerce websites using WordPress (WooCommerce) and Shopify
- Convert Figma or Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect front-end code
- Customize and develop themes, templates, and plugins for both platforms
- Handle product catalogs, custom fields, filters, variations, and checkout processes
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping methods, and 3rd-party APIs
- Optimize websites for performance (speed, SEO, mobile-first design) and Core Web Vitals
- Troubleshoot bugs, test cross-browser compatibility, and maintain site stability
- Collaborate remotely with UI/UX designers, marketing teams, and project managers
- Communicate clearly and deliver projects on time with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in eCommerce website development
- Expert knowledge in WordPress (WooCommerce) and Shopify platforms
- Strong front-end development skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, Liquid, PHP
- Proven experience in Figma to pixel-perfect conversion (desktop + mobile)
- Experience with theme development and customization in both WordPress and Shopify
- Good understanding of SEO fundamentals, site speed optimization, and responsive design
- Comfortable with tools like Git, Google Analytics, Trello/Asana, Slack, Zoom, etc.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
Skills (Preferred but Not Mandatory):
- Experience with Shopify Plus, Elementor, or WPBakery
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or CRM integrations
- Understanding of CRO (conversion rate optimization)
- Experience with headless commerce or REST APIs
