Nurse

The Nurse plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of patients within the Smbbit healthcare facility. This position requires a compassionate and skilled professional with a thorough understanding of nursing practices and protocols. The Nurse collaborates with a team of healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists, to assess patients' conditions, develop care plans, and monitor vital signs accurately. This role also includes overseeing a team of five healthcare personnel, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Nurse is expected to communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout the patient's healthcare journey, while strictly adhering to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive clinical assessments of patients to establish baselines and monitor their changing health status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
Monitor vital signs regularly, documenting any changes and reporting them to the supervising physician.
Implement infection control procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Communicate clearly with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
Lead and manage a team of five healthcare professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure efficient team function.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create, evaluate, and adjust patient care plans based on individual needs.
Assist in the education and training of new nursing staff and support staff in best practices and protocols.
Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices and emerging healthcare trends.
