Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Control access to premises, screening visitors and employees
- Assist with emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and daily activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security guard license (required)
- Police Character Certificate (required)
- 3-5 years of security experience (preferably)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends)
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Law enforcement or military background
- CPR/AED certification
- Familiarity with security systems and technology
