Promoting Resilient Partnership (PRP) is a unique multi-stakeholder regional partnership striving for ‘‘safer and well-prepared communities through locally-led disaster risk management (DRM) actions, so that disaster impacts on at-risk communities will be reduced. It was established with a mission to enhance partnerships, collaboration and coordination among government, local humanitarian & civil society organizations, the private sector, media and academia at the country level. It served as a platform for improve humanitarian coordination through systematic and local institutional, enhance humanitarian information management & knowledge exchange and enhanced capacity strengthening of partners.

Statement of Intent and Objective:

Highly skilled and ethical Finance and Office Manager to lead our financial operations, administrative functions, coordination and the development of key policy frameworks, ensuring transparency, compliance, and operational excellence in support of the Promoting Resilient Preparedness (PRP). The primary objective of the Finance and Office Manager is to ensure efficient financial management, administrative oversight, coordination and the development of key policy frameworks for the Promoting Resilient Preparedness (PRP).

Main Responsibilities:

Development of PRP Policy Documents and Frameworks:

  • Develop and maintain frameworks for governance, operations, HR, financial management, and monitoring, ensuring compliance with legal and donor requirements, while promoting ethical practices, diversity, and anti-fraud measures through comprehensive policies and a clear Code of Conduct.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with donor requirements.

Office Administration:

  • Manage procurement, logistics, and general office upkeep.

Human Resources:

  • Assist in recruitment, staff development, and ensure HR policy compliance.

Policy Development:

  • Establish governance, operational, and HR frameworks.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant policies and donor guidelines.

Reporting Coordination and Communication: 

  • Prepare financial and operational reports, ensure inter-departmental communication, facilitate coordination across the organization, and liaise with PRP partners and stakeholders for smooth operations
