Social media officer will work on all social media platforms and will continuously share approved posts on social media. Review, design the posts, and share with project manager for approval and share on the social media. Track progress of his/her posts and generate reports on monthly basis. Social media officer will work with volunteers/champions for boosting the social media posts
Main Responsibilities
The incumbent is responsible for assisting the project manager in smooth implementation and to manage social media platforms day-to-day functions of the project such as:
Technical Assistance:
- Plan, design and review the social media posts and implement our social media strategies in the project
- Content management across multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.
- Identify insights and social media trends of campaigns through data analytics.
- Monitor, engage and grow our online communities through best-practice community management.
- Respond to comments on each of SPO Social media accounts.
- Network with project volunteer/ champions to share and boosting of social media posts
- Analyzing data of likes, comments, share, tweets etc. to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.
- Track and analyze metrics of social media channels and posts to generate report on monthly basis
Programme Management & Implementation:
- Support the Project Manager to oversee and manage programme implementation functions, work planning and managing all social media platforms.
- Support the Project Manager to coordinate and manage the overall quality delivery of the programme in an effective and efficient manner
Human Resource Management:
Provide support to team members and partners/allies in smooth implementation of projects and developing required skills
Coordination Responsibilities:
- Coordinate closely with other programme teams at regional and NC level for building synergies and affective programme delivery.
- Coordinate closely with Communication specialist to track the progress of the project and incorporate technical input, feedback and suggest for further improvement.
- Follow organizational policies and guidelines.
- Adhere to SPO policies and promote participatory culture and demonstrate SPO’s values
- Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by SPO
- Carry out any other activities as assigned by the supervisor
