Team Lead will work closely with government bodies, stakeholders, and NGOs to empower individuals and promote a culture of respect, dignity, equality, and safety for women and children in the targeted districts.

Key Responsibilities:

Inception Phase:

-       Collaborate with implementing partners to set the groundwork for project execution.

-       Engage stakeholders and formulate a comprehensive workplan.

-       Develop a plan of action and risk identification.

-       Establish harmonious relationships between stakeholders through consultations.

-       Deliver an inception report detailing the project's strategy and work plan.

Consultation Meetings with Relevant Stakeholders for GBV Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan:

-       Conduct comprehensive GBV risk assessment and develop a mitigation action plan.

-       Facilitate district-level consultations with key stakeholders.

-       Identify root causes of GBV, SEA, gender disparities, and VAC.

-       Develop a comprehensive mitigation plan with a focus on educational institutions.

-       Ensure cultural sensitivity and alignment with World Bank guidelines.

Communities Training Delivery and Outreach Strategy:

-       Collaboratively plan and implement training sessions in 4 key districts and 9 flood-affected districts.

-       Identify and categorize schools into groups for effective interaction.

-       Develop training content and curriculum in collaboration with experts.

-       Conduct quarterly trainings in UCs focusing on GBV sensitization, code of conduct and policy, services and local laws, connecting to relevant services, and responding to GBV survivors ethically.

-       Mobilize communities, engage school administrators and teachers, and foster partnerships to enhance outreach.

Training Session for GBV Focal Persons/Staff on GRM for GBV/VAC/SH-SA:

-       Provide training on Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) for GBV, VAC, and SH-SA.

-       Equip participants with knowledge and skills for effective implementation of GRM.

-       Emphasize ethical conduct and cultural sensitivity.

-       Develop an implementation plan and provide ongoing support.

Training Session for Empowering PTCs, VECs, and VNFs on Lodging Complaints Related to GBV:

-       Empower members of Parent Teacher Councils, Village Education Committees, and Village Network Forums to lodge complaints related to GBV.

-       Cover topics including GBV awareness, roles and responsibilities, and lodging complaints.

-       Use interactive activities, case studies, and role-plays to enhance understanding.

-       Promote gender equality and create a safe and inclusive environment within schools.

Project Management:

-       Ensure the smooth implementation of project activities, including planning, budgeting, procurement, monitoring, and reporting.

-       Facilitate liaison and coordination with stakeholders, government departments, and local organizations.

-       Oversee the District Implementation Office (DIO) for district-level activities.

Resource Partner and Budget Overview:

-       Utilize project funds for personnel services, travel, project activities and training costs, procurement, and operating and maintaining costs.

-       Manage budgets effectively and ensure the responsible use of funds for project objectives.
