We are looking Senior Shopify Developer with 3-4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and maintaining high-performance Shopify stores, with a deep understanding of Liquid, Shopify’s templating language. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this role. Experience in building or working with Shopify apps is highly preferred, as well as solid front-end development skills.
Responsibilities:
- Convert Figma and PSD designs into fully functional Shopify themes.
- Implement bug fixes and perform customizations to enhance Shopify stores.
- Utilise advanced Shopify features, including custom post types and advanced custom fields.
- Ensure excellent page speed performance across all Shopify stores.
- Apply the Bootstrap framework to create responsive and mobile-friendly websites.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in jQuery to develop interactive elements.
- Adhere to W3C standards to ensure high code quality.
- Develop themes from scratch based on provided HTML designs.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility for all websites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Work with or build Shopify apps to extend the platform’s functionality.
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid to meet business needs and client specifications.
- Monitor and enhance store performance by optimizing loading times and implementing SEO best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and updates to ensure stores operate smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
- Identify and resolve issues related to Shopify functionality, Liquid code, and theme bugs.
- Provide technical support to address errors and ensure minimal downtime.
- Develop custom functionalities to extend Shopify’s core features.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and development best practices.
- Maintain security protocols to protect customer data and transaction processes.
Requirements:
- At least 3-4 years of professional experience as a Shopify Developer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field is a must.
- Strong command of Shopify’s Liquid language.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for developing interactive and dynamic elements.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining Shopify stores.
- Ability to showcase examples of previous Shopify work through a comprehensive portfolio.
- Familiarity with cross-browser and responsive design practices.
- Strong understanding of Shopify’s ecosystem, including apps and integrations.
- Proven experience in developing and customizing Shopify themes from scratch based on provided designs.
- Experience with Shopify App development.
- Familiarity with Shopify’s API for integrating and extending functionalities.
- Knowledge of e-commerce SEO best practices.
