We are seeking an experienced Zendesk Developer with in-depth expertise in Zendesk, including OKTA integration, role definition, and designing community pages. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Zendesk capabilities and be able to customize and optimize the platform for business needs.

Programming Skills

  • JavaScript: Proficiency in JavaScript is essential for developing custom Zendesk applications.
  • HTML/CSS: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less.
  • API expertise: Familiarity with Restful APIs, JSON, and API design principles.

Zendesk-Specific Skills

  • Zendesk API: In-depth knowledge of the Zendesk API, including authentication, rate limiting, and API endpoints.
  • Zendesk App Framework: Understanding of the Zendesk App Framework, including app development, deployment, and management.
  • Zendesk Themes: Familiarity with Zendesk themes, including theme development, customization, and deployment.
  • Zendesk Triggers and Automations: Knowledge of Zendesk triggers and automations, including how to create and manage custom triggers and automations.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  •  Experience with Zendesk integrations: Familiarity with integrating Zendesk with other tools and platforms, such as Salesforce, JIRA, or Slack.
  • Knowledge of Zendesk's ecosystem: Understanding of Zendesk's ecosystem, including its products and services, such as Zendesk Support, Zendesk Chat, and Zendesk Explore.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies: Familiarity with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Certifications: Zendesk certifications, such as the Zendesk Developer Certification or the Zendesk Administrator Certification.

Qualifications:

  •  Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software development, preferably with Zendesk or similar customer service platforms.
  • Proficient: Fluent in English
