Installation and Setup: 

  • Collaborate with the project team to understand the IoT device requirements and specifications.
  • Install and configure various types of sensors, transmitters as per project needs.
  • Ensure proper wiring, connections, and mounting of instruments for optimal functionality and data accuracy.

Calibration and Testing:

  • Calibrate sensors and instruments to ensure accurate measurements and data collection.
  • Develop and implement testing procedures to validate the precision and reliability of sensor outputs.
  • Conduct performance tests under different environmental conditions to assess device robustness.

Signal Integrity and Troubleshooting:

  • Use specialized testing tools and equipment to verify the integrity of output signals from transmitters.
  • Identify and rectify signal distortions, noise, and interference, ensuring high-quality data transmission.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues that may arise during the testing and deployment phases.

Maintenance and Repair:

  • Perform routine maintenance on installed instruments to prevent degradation of performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning devices, and repair or replace components as needed.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacement history.
  • Document all installation, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting procedures, creating comprehensive guides for future reference.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure that instruments meet industry standards and project requirements.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Participate in project planning meetings to provide technical insights on instrument-related aspects.
  • Contribute to the development of project timelines and milestones related to instrument installation, calibration, and testing.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure project deliverables are met within stipulated timelines.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling instruments, tools, and hazardous materials.
  • Promote a safe working environment by identifying potential hazards and taking necessary precautions.

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical degree or certification in electronics, instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of sensor technology, signal processing, and data communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools to assess signal integrity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team on project-based assignments.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.

Note: This job is purely project-based, and the candidate is expected to possess their own testing tools for ensuring output signal integrity and arrange suitable team members to accomplish the project on time.
