The Finance professional at TeG plays a vital role in managing financial operations and ensuring efficient budgetary processes. This position requires an individual who demonstrates excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial landscapes. The Finance expert will engage in routine tasks while also undertaking additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department (HOD). As a key member of the financial team, the individual assists in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing budgeting needs, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This role does not involve team management but is essential for supporting higher-level strategic financial planning and execution within the company.
Responsibilities

Prepare, monitor, and analyze budgets to ensure departmental financial efficiency and meet strategic goals.
Conduct routine financial tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and report generation to maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports for management review, highlighting key insights and trends.
Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial documentation through methodical problem-solving skills.
Support the Head of Department in financial forecasting and resource allocation to align with business objectives.
Evaluate existing financial processes and recommend improvements or adjustments to enhance operational efficiency.
Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors as needed.
Communicate effectively with various departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Stay updated on financial regulations, compliance standards, and best practices to ensure company adherence.
Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as requested, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
