Shopify Developer

Tericis is seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify Developer, you will utilize your expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design, develop, and maintain high-quality eCommerce websites tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. With at least 3 years of experience in the field, your role will focus on theme development, implementation of responsive designs, and ensuring exceptional performance and functionality of Shopify stores. You will play a crucial role in the entire development process, from concept to execution, while collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver outstanding digital experiences. In this position, you will not be required to manage a team, but you will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. Your deep understanding of Liquid Template Language will allow you to create customized solutions and enhance existing features of Shopify themes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and reliable online shopping experiences while keeping up to date with the latest trends and best practices in eCommerce development.

Responsibilities

Design and implement responsive Shopify themes that meet client specifications.
Develop and maintain website features using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Customize existing Shopify themes to enhance user experience and meet business requirements.
Collaborate with designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
Implement and optimize SEO strategies to improve site visibility and performance.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites to ensure optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
Integrate third-party applications and plugins to extend website functionality.
Monitor website performance and troubleshoot issues, providing solutions for continuous improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest eCommerce trends, tools, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance development processes.
Document development processes and provide clear instructions to clients for managing their sites.
