Job Summary / Major Responsibilities

  • Development and review of policies, procedures, strategies & framework for effective implementation of Environmental & Social Management System (ESMS) across the Bank.
  • Ensures environmental, social and climate related risks are managed effectively and incorporated into conventional risk management processes.
  • Review and develop Environmental Risk Rating System for the bank.
  • Have good understanding of Green Banking Products (both Assets and Liability side).
  • Coordinate with Business Unit(s), Law Division & Credit Risk function in the development of appropriate ESG related definitions, clauses and covenants to comply with E&S laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of KPI’s for various departments across the bank in order to achieve compliance to the Bank’s internal resource conservation targets.
  • Track latest E&S issues in the media and support business teams in identifying and managing E&S risks related to lending side.
  • Ensure close coordination among different Departments / Groups / Division’s and branches of the bank to ensure compliance with ESMS.
  • Responsible for timely submission of all the SBP regulatory reporting’s related to Green Banking / ESRM.
  • Assist in capacity building and training of Bank’s Staff on Green Banking and ESG.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Minimum Master’s Degree from a HEC recognized Local/ Foreign University. Preference will be given to Doctorate Degree holders in Green Banking. 

Experience: Minimum 09 Years of experience as RM / Credit Analyst / Audit & Compliance Officer is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates having prior Green Banking related experience.

Age: Up to 55 Years as of September  22, 2023.
