The instructor is responsible for planning, preparing and providing well organized Electrical training to the students. Design, prepare and implement effective training program and conduct lab activities as per the course requirement as well as assessing and providing feedback on the student’s performance, teaching students the principles and techniques of Electrical trade in a safe and effective manner and must train students in the proper use of materials and tools.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, organize, and deliver clear and comprehensive plumbing instruction to students.
  • Demonstrate and explain the use of tools and materials related to the course.
  • Plan, assign, and evaluate students’ progress in Electrical projects.
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness of the classroom, labs and equipment.
  • Maintain records of attendance, grades, and other pertinent information.
  • Keep abreast of advances technology and practices related to the trade.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum, methodologies, and materials used in plumbing instruction.
  • Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe and productive environment
  • Prepare and check formative assessment / examination papers.
  • Participate in staff development activities and professional organizations.
  • Participate in curriculum development and all academic tasks related to the course in order to improve teaching and learning standards.
  • Monitor and report student attendance; mark students’ daily attendance.
  • Work on students’ overall grooming, communication and etiquette, and personal development and prepare them for the local and international industry.
  • Maintain personal (instructor) folder/file as per the given format in an organized manner and ensure all documents are properly maintained.
  • Ensure compliance of code of conduct, company’s policies and refrain from disciplinary issues.
  • Provide support to all the faculty members as well as admin staff as and when needed.
  • Participate actively in admission campaign drive and other activities for the benefit of the organization and students.
  • Assist in strategic planning and in introducing new trades / courses at the institute level.
  • Maintain regular and productive communication with parents, to report on students’ progress.
  • Participate in all outdoor activities / tasks assigned by the management.
  • Utilize innovative classroom techniques and methodologies that involve students in challenging learning opportunities;
  • Provide feedback to students that will enhance their academic growth;
  • Refer to the supervisor those students not making adequate progress;
  • Attend faculty meetings to formatively evaluate student progress and determine improvement strategies for students;
  • Complete summative evaluations highlighting students’ strengths and needs.
  • To maintain all electrical maintenance in the institute.

Requirements:

 Education: BE/ BS/ B-Tech/DAE (Electrical) from a reputable university.

 Experience: 2 – 4 years of relevant experience (Prior teaching experience would be a plus)

  •  Strong communication & presentation skills.
  •  Excellent class management skill
  •  Passionate for teaching.
  •  Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.
  •  Interpersonal Skills
  •  Proficient with MS Office
