We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end travel solutions for our global clientele. This includes crafting personalized itineraries, managing bookings, providing visa and travel advice, and ensuring a seamless travel experience. You must have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of international destinations, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with international clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets.
Design and present customized travel packages including flights, accommodation, transportation, tours, and activities.
Handle international bookings and reservations through global distribution systems (GDS) and other travel platforms.
Provide up-to-date information on travel regulations, visa requirements, COVID-related travel advisories, and local customs.
Act as a liaison between clients and international suppliers (airlines, hotels, DMCs).
Monitor and manage bookings to avoid conflicts and ensure accuracy.
Respond promptly to inquiries, resolve issues, and provide post-booking support.
Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Stay current on travel trends, destination knowledge, and global events affecting travel.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a travel consultant or similar role (international focus preferred).
Knowledge of travel booking software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; multilingual ability is a plus.
Strong customer service and sales orientation.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple client accounts.
Familiarity with international destinations, cultures, and travel logistics.
A bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience handling corporate travel or luxury travel clients.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with international vendors.
