Salesperson - Freight

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Freight Salesperson to join our team in North America. This role will primarily focus on generating sales through email outreach, telephonic sales calls, and managing online sales portals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding or logistics sales, a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the freight forwarding industry.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Utilize email campaigns, cold calling, and online platforms to generate leads and convert them into sales.
Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries.
Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with potential clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery to clients.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Requirements:

Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales, with a solid understanding of shipping processes and industry practices.
Strong sales acumen and ability to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
Experience using CRM software and other sales tools to track progress and manage leads.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
