Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 2-3 years of experience who has a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, with additional knowledge of GCP and Azure being a plus. The ideal candidate should have expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible, and a solid understanding of networking, databases, and Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructure, primarily on AWS (GCP/Azure is a plus).
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible for provisioning and configuration management.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and implement security best practices.
Optimize cloud resources and improve cost efficiency of deployed environments.
Manage network configurations including VPCs, security groups, firewalls, and load balancers.
Administer and optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL) in cloud environments.
Work with different Linux distributions (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, etc.) for system administration and automation.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment of applications.
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK Stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in cloud specifically AWS. GCP and Azure knowledge preferable.
Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing microservices.
Experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPNs, and Security best practices.
Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
Strong experience in Linux system administration across different distributions (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, etc.).
Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, or equivalent tools.
Knowledge of Python, Bash, or Shell scripting for automation.
Understanding of IAM best policies, security services, and compliance best practices (SOC2, PCI DSS, CIS)
