Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the academy’s growth and expansion plans.
Create budgets, forecasts, and financial models for existing and future programs.
Conduct financial analysis to assess opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Financial Management
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, and invoicing.
Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for smooth operations.
Track revenues and expenses for various programs, identifying and addressing inefficiencies.
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare monthly financial reports, presenting key insights to the CEO and management team.
Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors as required.
Operational Support
Provide financial oversight for ground rentals, facility maintenance, and operational costs.
Evaluate the financial performance of programs like the Elite Development Program and weekend sessions, offering recommendations for improvement.
Support pricing strategies for academy services to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Team Leadership
Support and mentor finance-related staff (if applicable) to ensure effective operations.
Foster cross-departmental collaboration to achieve organizational financial goals.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA are a plus.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management or accounting, preferably in the sports, education, or services sector.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
