We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cashier with a background in the printing industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling cash, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. Knowledge of the printing business and its unique payment processes is preferred. This role is key in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer payments accurately using cash, credit/debit cards, and checks.
  •  Issue receipts, refunds, or changes due to customers in a timely manner.
  • Handle cash and ensure the register is balanced at the end of each shift.
  • Generate and manage invoices for printed products and services.
  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure proper billing for custom and bulk orders.
  • Maintain detailed records of all transactions, credits, and refunds.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve payment-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
  •  Work closely with production and sales teams to manage orders and payments.
  •  Monitor transaction trends and report discrepancies or unusual activities.
  •  Must be able to sit or stand for long periods and occasionally lift light objects (e.g., stacks of receipts, and office supplies).

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  •  Proven experience as a cashier, particularly within the printing industry or similar sectors (e.g., manufacturing, design, or production).
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and financial software.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail in handling money and invoices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in working with B2B & C2C transactions, especially related to large or custom printing jobs.
  • Additional training or certification in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting is a plus.
