Documents financial transactions by entering account information in accounting software.
Prepare vouchers, bank receipts and payments.
Preparing balance sheets profit and loss statements and other reports.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Reconciles financial Transaction, discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Follows Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Exhibits strong technical accounting knowledge
Knows how to use popular accounting software
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skill

Education, Experience

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a similar major is required
A master’s degree is preferred
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance is required
