Youngs Private is seeking a dedicated and skilled DAE Mechanical with a strong background in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. The ideal candidate possesses a robust understanding of mechanical maintenance, along with excellent troubleshooting skills specific to FMCG equipment. This role does not require managing a team, allowing the candidate to focus on hands-on technical work while contributing to the efficiency and productivity of our operations. Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and machines used in FMCG production.
Diagnose mechanical issues with high precision and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Perform troubleshooting on various FMCG equipment, ensuring all machinery operates at optimal performance levels.
Collaborate closely with production teams to understand equipment needs and support operational objectives.
Maintain a detailed record of maintenance activities and repairs to track performance and improve future tasks.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while handling mechanical equipment and performing maintenance tasks.
Identify parts or tools necessary for accomplishing repairs and maintenance, and ensure timely procurement to avert operational delays.
Assist in training fellow technicians on the use and maintenance of mechanical systems specific to FMCG processes.
Contribute innovative ideas to enhance machine efficiency and reliability within the production line.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology to implement best practices in maintenance.
