Tax Officer Position
The Tax Officer will assist the Tax Manager in ensuring tax compliance and optimizing tax strategies within the oil marketing sector. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, conducting research, and supporting audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and filing corporate tax returns (income tax, VAT, etc.).
- Support tax planning initiatives to minimize liabilities.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and industry changes.
- Provide documentation and support during tax audits.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s or certification preferred.
- 3 or more years of tax compliance experience, preferably in oil and gas.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and excellent analytical skills.

ZPPL envisions forming a network of retail outlets and logistics infrastructure across the country to provide quality service to customers and to facilitate in meeting the ever-increasing requirement of petroleum products.
