Controlled, led, and monitored the WASH & Livelihood project in three newly merged districts of KP through a
democratic and visionary style of leadership. The project achieved the following significant outcomes:
Establishment of Formal Platforms and Relationships:
Established formal platforms** and maintained working relationships with the Provincial Secretariat and other stakeholders.
This ensured effective coordination and collaboration throughout the project.
Economic Empowerment and Infrastructure Development:
- The project resulted in the establishment of 150 small businesses** for internally displaced persons (IDPs), providing them
with sustainable livelihood opportunities.
- Additionally, *1,200 women were trained in various livelihood activities, enhancing their skills and economic independence.
- The project also conducted three cycles of cash-for-work (CFW) programs, focusing on cleaning and rehabilitating the city-
wide drainage system. This initiative not only improved the infrastructure but also provided employment opportunities.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepared, organized, and documented all project activities at the provincial and national headquarters. This ensured
proper record-keeping and facilitated effective reporting to relevant stakeholders.
The achievements of the project were recognized and appreciated by various stakeholders, including the District
Administration, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), and other relevant entities. The successful
implementation of the project, along with the positive outcomes achieved, demonstrates the effectiveness of the leadership approach and the project's contribution to the overall development and well-being of the communities in the newly merged districts

Successfully oversaw the operation, liaison, and reporting of the project. The following key
accomplishments were achieved:
Leadership and Management:
led and managed the project team consisting of disaster risk reduction (DRR) experts, engineers, social
mobilizers, and administrative and financial personnel.
I utilized an adaptive management style and demonstrated a benevolent autocratic style of leadership to
effectively guide the team.
Project Planning and Monitoring:
As a Manager developed a project charter, Gantt chart, and Logical Framework Matrix (LFM) to monitor and
evaluate the project's progress and outcomes.
I ensured the successful implementation of various community-level endeavors, such as developing school
safety and disaster management plans, overseeing construction and rehabilitation work in schools and the
community, and facilitating the formation of different groups like the Community Emergency Response
Team (CERT) and School Safety Group.
Provision of Resources and Support:
Ensured the provision of necessary kits to the District Emergency Unit, community members, and schools
to enhance their
disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
Review and Reporting:
Reviewed disaster risk management plans, school safety plans, and reports** and shared them with all
relevant stakeholders.
Finalized the training contents, training manuals, and modules for community members and government
representatives.
Recognition and Appreciation:
- The project efforts were appreciated and acknowledged by the District Administration, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), and other stakeholders for the significant impact and positive outcomes
achieved.

Successfully ensured good governance and effective engagement with all stakeholders, especially
government
departments officials and other NGOs working in the districts.
Leadership and Team Management:
I effectively managed and led a team consisting of social mobilizers, engineers, health component
personnel, and
administration and procurement department staff.
- Utilizing my leadership skills, I employed a democratic and visionary style to guide the team towards
success.
Project Planning and Resource Management:
- I developed and implemented 'PERT and CPM methods/charts to effectively manage project resources
and time.
- The entire project was completed within the allocated budget and timeframe.

Capacity Building and Concept Development:
- I successfully managed the training of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and Registered CBOs in
collaboration with
the social welfare departments.
Developed and review concept notes and rationales for innovative ideas within
the project
budget.
Health component
- I effectively managed the Community-Based Health and First Aid (CBHFA) and Participatory Hygiene and
Sanitation
Transformation (PHAST) initiatives within the health component of the project.
Recognition and Promotion:
- The achievements of the project were **recognized and appreciated by the health department, district
administration, and
the community.
As a result of the successful program, I was promoted to the position of Project Manager.
These achievements highlight my ability to ensure good governance, engage with stakeholders, and
effectively manage a
diverse team. The successful implementation of the project, along with the recognition received,
demonstrates the positive impact and outcomes achieved under my leadership.

Spearheaded the development of innovative programs aimed at enhancing citizens' engagement in governance. Through our advocacy efforts, I successfully advocated for policy and service delivery improvements. Here are the
key achievements:
Formation of District Governance Group (DGG):
- I successfully formed the District Governance Group (DGG)**, which consisted of lawyers, trade unions,
teachers, transgender representatives, and youth. This diverse group played a crucial role in promoting inclusive governance and ensuring the representation of various segments of society.
Research and Issue Resolution:
- I conducted extensive research on governance issues, enabling me to identify key challenges and develop effective strategies for resolution.
- Through result-oriented advocacy campaigns, I successfully resolved numerous issues, ensuring positive outcomes for the community.
Leadership in Election Observation:
- I led the observation of the 2013 elections at the district level, ensuring transparency and fairness in the
electoral process.
- I drafted an **election observation report** and presented it to all stakeholders, providing valuable
insights and
recommendations for future improvements.
Empowerment of Transgender Association:
- I played a pivotal role in strengthening the transgender association and promoting their engagement in
decision-making
processes through awareness campaigns. This initiative aimed to empower and uplift the transgender
community.
Advocacy for Local Government Elections and Legislation:
- I led advocacy campaigns to promote and ensure the successful conduct of local government elections in KP.
I actively promoted the Right to Information Act (RTI Act KP 2013)and the Right to Service Act, advocating for transparency,
accountability, and citizen empowerment.

inclusivity. By advocating for policy improvements, forming strategic alliances, and leading impactful initiatives, I have
